Michael Hubbs

Research Assistant
Michael Hubbs is a Research Assistant with the Energy & Climate practice at Rhodium Group, focusing on climate risk.

Michael’s work supports all aspects of the Climate Risk Service, including research, product development, business development, and client support activities.

Prior to joining Rhodium, Michael was a student at the City College of New York (CCNY), where he completed a senior engineering design project about potential ways to improve methane recovery and reuse at a wastewater treatment plant in Queens, NY. Michael was also a Climate Policy Fellow at CCNY, where he co-wrote a policy brief on creating a federal green infrastructure program to mitigate flood damage to high-risk regions of the US.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Earth System Science & Environmental Engineering from CCNY.
