In the first quarter of 2026, clean energy and transportation investment in the United States totaled $61 billion, a 3% decline from Q4 2025 and a 9% decline from Q1 2025.

Hannah Hess is a Director with Rhodium Group’s Energy & Climate practice, working to expand research visibility and impact.
Energy & ClimateHannah’s role entails building and maintaining partnerships for the multidisciplinary Climate Impact Lab and the Clean Investment Monitor, a collaboration with MIT’s Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research. She also leads user engagement for the ClimateDeck, Rhodium’s energy & climate data platform. Hannah specializes in communicating the relationship between climate and society. She spent five years working as a journalist in Washington, DC, before joining Rhodium. Hannah holds two degrees from the University of Illinois, a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs Reporting.
