Daniel H Rosen is the author of the Asia Society Policy Institute report Avoiding the Blind Alley: China’s Economic Overhaul and Its Global Implications. The breakfast briefing will provide senior representatives from the Asia Society corporate membership with an opportunity to participate in roundtable dialogue with Daniel Rosen ahead of the public panel discussion and Australian launch of the report at lunch time.

Daniel Rosen is the Wadsworth Fellow at the Asia Society Policy Institute and founding partner of the Rhodium Group and leads the firm’s work on China. He is also co-author of the 2011 Asia Society report An American Open Door?: Maximizing the Benefits of Chinese Foreign Direct Investment.

Daniel is a visiting fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) and an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University. He writes and speaks extensively on China and other emerging economy topics. From 2000-2001, he was Senior Adviser for International Economic Policy at the White House National Economic Council and National Security Council, where he played a key role in completing China’s accession to the World Trade Organization and accompanied the President to Asia for summits and state visits. Daniel is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and board member of the National Committee for US-China Relations.
