SuperReturn China 2013

Location:

SuperReturn Global

In a panel titled “The China Bull/Bear Debate” at SuperReturn China 2013, RHG principal and founder Daniel Rosen (‘the bull’) and author and senior advisor of APCO James McGregor (‘the bear’) sound off in a debate hosted by Stepstone CEO Monte Brem.

SuperReturn is the world’s largest series of private equity and venture capital conferences, bringing together a diverse mix of local and international LPs and GPs to forge new business relationships and explore business and partnership opportunities across China.

SuperReturn was launched in 1998 with the first flagship conference held in Berlin. Since then, the SuperReturn International Series has expanded to include events around the world, including the renowed SuperReturn Asia in Hong Kong, SuperReturn Emerging Markets in Geneva, SuperReturn Africa in Casablanca, and SuperReturn Latin America in Rio de Janeiro. 2013 is the third year of SuperReturn China, which grew out of popular demand for a specifically-China focused event after 6 successful years of SuperReturn Asia in Hong Kong.

Other panels include Michael Pettis, Professor of Finance at Peking University, speaking on the macroeconomic challenges facing China’s new leadership and likely policy responses; a panel on how private equity investors should access China’s capital markets, moderated by CITIC’s head of private equity, Yibing Wu; and a panel on China’s investment outlook that includes Fred Hu of Primavera Capital, Jie Gong of Morgan Stanley, and Liang Meng of Ascendent Capital, moderated by Bain Capital’s managing director, Jonathan Zhu.
