Texas and China: Non-Obvious Energy and Environmental Bedfellows
Trevor Houser and the University of Texas’s Michael Weber co-present on the interesting duality of Texas and China’s energy needs, at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival’s Eco forum. While these two regions are significant polluters, and therefore part of the global environmental problem, they are also clean energy leaders, and are part of the global energy solution. This session will share insights, contrasts and comparisons about the special skillets, challenges, and opportunities that both Texas and China face on the global stage as the world makes a transition to a cleaner, greener energy system.
