The Implications of West Virginia v. EPA for the Power Sector

Location:

Online

DATE: Wednesday, March 9th
TIME: 3PM EST

On Wednesday, March 9, Rhodium Group Partner John Larsen will join a panel discussion hosted by Covington and ACORE on the industry implications of West Virginia v. EPA, which was argued on February 28. The case could have profound implications for the role that the Clean Air Act can play in reducing power-sector greenhouse gas emissions and more broadly for agency authority to take action in the absence of specific congressional authorization to address a particular problem, such as climate change. Attorneys who represent the Power Company and Environmental Respondents in the case will be joined by clean energy industry experts to discuss the issues before the Court and its potential impacts on the power sector and more broadly.
