The Paris Agreement’s “Report Card”: How the Global Stocktake Can Raise Global Ambition
EVENT DETAILS:
WHEN: Thursday, Sept 22 at 10:00am EDT
RSVP: Register
Countries are evaluating global progress toward Paris Agreement goals through the UN’s Global Stocktake process, which is already underway and will conclude at next year’s COP28. A successful stocktake can help countries implement their existing climate commitments and provide the information and impetus necessary to raise the ambition of their next round of nationally determined contributions (NDCs). At this event, speakers will make the case for a solutions-oriented approach to the Global Stocktake and suggest mitigation opportunities for policymakers to consider.
Rhodium Group partner Kate Larsen will join other experts on this panel hosted by EDF.
