U.S. Responses to the Global Energy Crisis

Location:

Online

DATE: Tuesday, April 26th
TIME: 9:00AM EST

On April 26, Rhodium’s John Larsen will be a panelist speaker at the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ event ‘U.S. Responses to the Global Energy Crisis: Increasing Energy Security, Decreasing Emissions’. Global energy markets are facing mounting challenges in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Demand is shifting and growing, supply chains are still vulnerable, and higher energy prices are increasingly problematic for leaders and the climate.

Panelists will discuss how the United States can:

  1. help Europe secure energy supplies in the short term,
  2. increase energy security for itself and allies in the medium term,
  3. and decrease (or not increase) greenhouse gas emissions in the long term.
