US Markets Conference
DATE: February 24-26, 2014
TIME: 2:45 PM to 4:00 PM
LOCATION: Andaz Hotel, 75 Wall Street, New York, NY 10005
MiP is delighted to invite you to the U.S. Markets Conference, based at the Andaz Wall Street, New York. This event is sponsored by many of the world’s largest managers of US equity and debt, including J.P.Morgan Asset Management, BlackRock, Legg Mason Global Asset Management, BNY Mellon, Henderson Global Investors, Hermes Investment Management and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Delegates will meet locally-based managers and analysts for in-depth meetings. New this year is our Keynote Speaker Day – a main platform day featuring exceptional external speakers as well as senior management from each of the sponsors. We are delighted to welcome former Federal Reserve Governor Kevin Warsh, Tesla’s CTO JB Straubel author of Freakonomics, Stephen Dubner amongst others. Stephen will speak on the main platform and join us for a more light-hearted chat over drinks.
All meetings will be held on site at the Andaz Wall Street, in the heart of New York’s financial district. Due to inducements rules, we are unable to cover the cost of accommodation or travel for this event; however MiP would be delighted to help with your organisational requirements. If you would like us to book your travel and accommodation and invoice this back to you after the event, please let us know and Amy will call you to discuss this. We have secured a preferential rate at the Andaz and we can recommend other local hotels.
We recommend that you confirm your flights early to secure the best deals. Again, Amy can help with this.
Each sponsor will host a lengthy 90-minute boardroom session with senior fund managers and analysts, the vast majority of whom are based in New York. These sessions will focus on issues pertinent to the region, giving delegates a 360-degree view of the world’s largest market. Sponsors will also feature in our Keynote Speaker Day, in the form of panel discussions. Details on individual speakers will be announced in due course.
