Elan Strait is based in Washington D.C. and is the Director of US climate campaigns for WWF and former National Security Council Director of Climate & Clean Energy at the White House for the Obama Administration.

Kate Larsen is a Director at Rhodium Group and leads the firm’s international energy and climate research. She specializes in the impacts of clean energy policy and market trends in the US and worked at the White House Council on Environmental Quality where she was the Deputy Director for Energy and Climate Change and helped develop President Obama’s Climate Action Plan.

Elan and Kate will be in conversation with Richie Merzian, director of the Climate & Energy Program at the Australia Institute.
