Rhodium Associate Director Whitney Herndon selected as judge for XPRIZE Carbon Removal Competition

XPRIZE Carbon Removal is aimed at tackling the biggest threat facing humanity – fighting climate change and rebalancing Earth’s carbon cycle. Funded by Elon Musk and the Musk Foundation, this $100M competition is the largest incentive prize in history.‎

Rhodium Group’s Whitney Herndon has been selected as a judge for this year’s XPRIZE competition. Whitney is an Associate Director at Rhodium Group and manages the firm’s US energy research. Whitney manages a team of analysts that use a range of energy and economic models to analyze the impact of policy proposals and market shifts on the US energy system and macroeconomy. Her expertise includes carbon capture, energy and electric power systems modeling, and economy-wide decarbonization.
