Abbie Olson

Abbie brings data science, engineering, and subject matter expertise to bear on new product development for the Energy & Climate practice’s data platforms. Her focuses include extensions and expansions of the Clean Investment Monitor, a collaboration with MIT’s Center for Energy and Environmental Research, in addition to novel research streams. Abbie also lends her development skills to supporting and improving the ClimateDeck platform.

Before joining Rhodium, Abbie was a Senior Data Scientist with the US Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations, where she developed data products for one of the agency’s most extensive portfolios. Abbie has also worked at Deloitte on the US Department of State account, at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and at Adaptive Biotechnologies. She holds a Master’s in Bioinformatics from the University of Oregon, where she worked as a lab instructor for undergraduate Biology majors. Abbie is based in Washington, DC.
