Chris Hankin

Chris’s work focuses on analyzing energy markets in the US and abroad, tracking policy trends, and following voluntary and compliance GHG accounting updates. His work supports Rhodium’s research for corporate clients.

Before joining Rhodium Group, Chris supported energy procurement for corporate clients at Coho Climate Advisors. His work covered wholesale renewable energy procurement through contract structures like VPPAs, as well as retail energy procurements across natural gas and electricity. Chris received a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and Nanjing University, concentrating in Energy, Resources, and the Environment. His academic research focused on China’s approach to decarbonization, and market instruments for incentivizing renewable energy uptake.
