Malcolm is a Research Analyst with Rhodium's China Projects team, focused on China's economic reform, industrial policy, and economic integration with Asia

Malcolm holds a master’s degree in International Area Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies Hopkins-Nanjing Center and a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.

Prior to joining Rhodium, he worked for various China-related research firms including Trivium, The Economist Intelligence Unit, and most recently China Policy where he was Lead Macro Analyst and Research Director.
