By laying out certain kinds of prohibited and restricted data transactions, the rule is a clear marker on current United States data policy vis-a-vis China. While the restrictions and requirements have yet to be implemented, the rulemaking process is currently underway. USCBC is collecting comments from its members to inform the Biden Administration on its final rule.
