Jeffery Jones joins Rhodium Group as a Director with the Energy & Climate practice

Jeffery will help lead the expansion of Rhodium’s research and expertise on US energy systems, climate policy and clean technologies.

Rhodium Group is pleased to welcome Jeffery Jones as a Director with our Energy & Climate practice, focusing on US energy systems, climate policy, and clean technologies. In this role, Jeffery will help lead the expansion of his team’s work combining policy expertise with a suite of detailed energy-economic models to help clients understand the impact of energy and climate change policy on economic output, energy markets, and greenhouse gas emissions.

Jeffery is a highly experienced management consultant with deep experience working with energy clients in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Rhodium Group, Jeffery worked for Teneo and Guidehouse, where he advised clients in the energy, utility, and defense sectors on the economic impacts of inflation, labor shortages, operational improvements, and supply chain issues. Prior to being a management consultant, Jeffery served as an intelligence analyst with the CIA, where he was responsible for providing analysis and insights on a wide range of national security issues. Jeffery holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and an MBA from Oxford University. He is based in Washington, DC.

Rhodium Group’s US energy & climate team conducts research on US energy systems, federal & state policy, and the development and deployment of clean technologies, including emerging climate technologies. The team uses cutting-edge modeling tools, on-the-ground research, and deep energy system knowledge to help decision-makers understand what matters most in advancing climate policy and US decarbonization.
