Monioluwa’s work focuses on state-level decarbonization and the implementation of clean energy technologies. Her research includes evaluating the economic impact of implementing an array of low-carbon technologies on states and local regions.

Prior to working at Rhodium, Monioluwa was a consultant at Environmental Defense Fund, conducting Proximity Mapping Analysis for various US states using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to see how warehouses are impacting the community surrounding them, with a focus on health and demographic impacts.

Monioluwa also has a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on sustainability and climate change adaptation, and a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences. She conducted research on climate change impacts on the Mid-Atlantic wetlands and her findings were published in the Pennsylvania Climate Change Impact Assessment Update of 2020.
