Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology that removes carbon dioxide from ambient air for use in materials or for geological sequestration, is rapidly emerging as a key tool for addressing climate change, in addition to steep emissions reductions. The Rhodium Group released their report, “Capturing Leadership: Policies for the US to Advance Direct Air Capture Technologies,” on May 9th, 2019 to quantify the need and opportunities for DAC as well as propose policy recommendations for supporting DAC at scale. This webinar will begin with a brief overview of DAC and proceed to a discussion with John Larsen, report author and Director at Rhodium Group.

Registration closes at 11:59 pm EDT on June 13th. Details to access the webinar room will be sent to registered participant shortly before the webinar is held. All webinars are archived here on the Institute’s website as well as on the Institute’s YouTube channel about a week after the webinar is conducted. An announcement will be posted on the Institute’s Facebook and Twitter when the recording becomes available.
